About the Instructor

Bill Bonnette

I love to fly, and I really enjoy teaching other people to fly. Over the years I’ve taught a wide variety of individuals and I’ve flown with people from all walks of life. No matter what your background, if you have the desire to become a pilot, I will work with you to achieve your goal.

I’ve been flying since 1979, and working with students as a certified flight instructor since 1988. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching hundreds of people to fly in many types of aircraft: single and multi-engine airplanes, helicopters, seaplanes, and tailwheel airplanes. Currently, I have over 23,000 hours of flight experience and more than 11,500 hours of instructional time with students.

The enthusiasm of my students is what makes my job exciting. Watching you progress as you work toward your certificate is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. I will make your flying experience safe and fun, and I look forward to meeting you and talking about your aviation dreams and goals.
